A d\u00eda de hoy, dicha energ\u00eda es empleada para cubrir el 35% de sus necesidades energ\u00e9ticas.<\/p>\n<p>La compa\u00f1\u00eda de Mountain View ha invertido 1,5 billones de d\u00f3lares en 22 proyectos de energ\u00eda solar y e\u00f3lica en todo el mundo, convirti\u00e9ndose as\u00ed en el mayor comprador corporativo de energ\u00eda renovable.<\/p>\n<p>DeepMind, compa\u00f1\u00eda inglesa de Inteligencia Artificial que Google compr\u00f3 en 2014, cre\u00f3 una red neuronal que puede aprender activamente de un entorno y resolver tareas complejas.<\/p>\n<p>La infraestructura de los centros de datos de Google da soporte a servicios de internet como Google Search, Gmail y YouTube, pero sus servidores generan cantidades masivas de calor que \u201cdeben ser eliminadas para mantener los servidores funcionando\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cEl enfriamiento normalmente se lleva a cabo mediante grandes equipos, como bombas o torres de refrigeraci\u00f3n\u201d, se\u00f1ala la compa\u00f1\u00eda. \u201cComenzamos a aplicar el aprendizaje autom\u00e1tico hace dos a\u00f1os para operar nuestros data centers con m\u00e1s eficiencia, y en los \u00faltimos meses los investigadores de DeepMind comenzaron a trabajar con equipos de los centros de datos de Google para mejorar significativamente la utilidad del sistema\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>DeepMind ha utilizado datos hist\u00f3ricos, como la temperatura, la potencia y las velocidades de la bomba, recogidas por los miles de sensores de sus centros de datos, para entrenar su red neuronal de Inteligencia Artificial y conseguir as\u00ed una mayor eficacia en el uso de la energ\u00eda en un futuro pr\u00f3ximo.<\/p>\n<p>Google ahora planea utilizar el algoritmo de aprendizaje autom\u00e1tico de DeepMind para alcanzar otros retos en sus centros de datos, como mejorar la eficiencia de la conversi\u00f3n de energ\u00eda, reducir los niveles de energ\u00eda de los semiconductores o aumentar el rendimiento de
