nuevos pavimentos permitir\u00e1n adaptar las ciudades al cambio clim\u00e1tico"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"entradilla\">Facilitar la adaptaci\u00f3n de las ciudades al cambio clim\u00e1tico transformando los espacios urbanos a trav\u00e9s de actuaciones en superficies como <span class=\"marca\">pavimentos<\/span> y cubiertas de edificios es el objetivo del proyecto estatal SUPRIS, en el que participan investigadores de la Universidad Polit\u00e9cnica de Valencia.<\/p>\n<p class=\"txt\">Este estudio avanza en el conocimiento de las superficies urbanas, para lograr que sean simult\u00e1neamente permeables con un alto rendimiento hidr\u00e1ulico frente a la colmataci\u00f3n, resilientes frente a los efectos futuros del cambio clim\u00e1tico y sostenibles a largo plazo.<\/p>\n<p class=\"txt\">El trabajo pretende demostrar c\u00f3mo los Sistemas Urbanos de Drenaje Sostenible (SuDS) son igualmente eficientes en condiciones clim\u00e1ticas muy diferentes, como la mediterr\u00e1nea y la atl\u00e1ntica.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"txt\">Pavimentos permeables<\/h2>\n<p class=\"txt\">El proyecto est\u00e1 coordinado por el Instituto de Ingenier\u00eda del Agua y Medio Ambiente de la UPV (IIAMA-UPV), centrado en el estudio de la permeabilidad y la inteligencia, y el Grupo de Investigaci\u00f3n de Tecnolog\u00eda de la Construcci\u00f3n de la Universidad de Cantabria (GITECO), encargado de la resiliencia y la sostenibilidad.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p class=\"txt\">El investigador principal por parte de la IIAMA-UPV, Ignacio Andr\u00e9s, ha explicado a EFE que con esta colaboraci\u00f3n busca \u201cgenerar sinergias y demostrar que los SuDS y en particular los <span class=\"marca\">pavimentos<\/span> permeables, son eficientes para la gesti\u00f3n de escorrent\u00edas urbanas\u201d en esas dos distintas condiciones clim\u00e1ticas.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p class=\"txt\">Para el desarrollo del trabajo se tomar\u00e1n como referencia las experiencias previas donde los SuDS se han implantado satisfactoriamente, para \u201cir comparando los resultados que se vayan obteniendo a escala de laboratorio con las experiencias reales existentes\u201d, ha indicado.<\/p>\n<p class=\"txt\">Concretamente, el grupo que \u00e9l lidera centrar\u00e1 su estudio en las \u00e1reas de <strong>permeabilidad<\/strong> para abordar c\u00f3mo solucionar el problema de la acumulaci\u00f3n de sedimentos en las superficies urbanas permeables.<\/p>\n<p class=\"txt\">Para ello, se caracterizar\u00e1 su rendimiento hidr\u00e1ulico en funci\u00f3n de determinadas condiciones pluviom\u00e9tricas y se estudiar\u00e1 la influencia de la colmataci\u00f3n en la capacidad de infiltraci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p class=\"txt\">Adem\u00e1s, se analizar\u00e1 el potencial de la superficie urbana permeable para la mejora de la calidad del agua infiltrada y del excedente de escorrent\u00eda superficial, todo ello en funci\u00f3n del tiempo y en los dos ambientes clim\u00e1ticos antes citados.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_67077\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\">En el segundo \u00e1mbito de estudio, el investigador ha indicado que se quieren difundir, en todos los sectores implicados, los beneficios que comporta esta t\u00e9cnica para acabar con \u201clas barreras institucionales y gubernamentales que impiden su plena implantaci\u00f3n\u201d.<\/div>\n<p class=\"txt\">De esta forma, se desarrollar\u00e1n mecanismos de <strong>gobernanza inteligente<\/strong> que permitan a los agentes implicados catalizar el cambio de paradigma que est\u00e1 experimentando hoy en d\u00eda el drenaje urbano y establecer una metodolog\u00eda para la correcta toma de decisiones, que integre las superficies urbanas permeables como elemento de regeneraci\u00f3n urbana.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p class=\"txt\">El proyecto SUPRIS (Superficies urbanas permeables, resilientes, inteligentes y sostenibles) forma parte del Programa Estatal de I+D+i Orientada a los Retos de la Sociedad del Ministerio de Econom\u00eda y Competitividad.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p class=\"txt\">Se enmarca en el reto quinto identificado en la Estrategia Espa\u00f1ola de Ciencia y Tecnolog\u00eda y de Innovaci\u00f3n \u201cAcci\u00f3n sobre el Cambio Clim\u00e1tico y eficiencia en la utilizaci\u00f3n de recursos y materias primas\u201d como eje clave de la pol\u00edtica europea e internacional actual.<\/p>\n<p class=\"txt\">Los SuDS representan una soluci\u00f3n eficiente desde el punto de vista econ\u00f3mico y flexible para la gesti\u00f3n de escorrent\u00edas urbanas, ya que pretende imitar las condiciones hidrol\u00f3gicas previas al desarrollo urbano, potenciando la infiltraci\u00f3n, retenci\u00f3n y laminaci\u00f3n en origen.<\/p>\n<p class=\"txt\">Del mismo modo, tambi\u00e9n mejoran el paisaje urbano, disminuyen el gasto en consumo energ\u00e9tico asociado al ciclo del agua, eliminan contaminantes y permiten el aprovechamiento
