{"id":26988,"date":"2017-04-03T09:00:07","date_gmt":"2017-04-03T12:00:07","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/patagoniambiental.com.ar\/info\/?p=26988"},"modified":"2017-04-02T20:10:00","modified_gmt":"2017-04-02T23:10:00","slug":"un-japones-crea-el-primer-aerogenerador-capaz-de-desafiar-a-los-tifones","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/patagoniambiental.com.ar\/info\/un-japones-crea-el-primer-aerogenerador-capaz-de-desafiar-a-los-tifones\/","title":{"rendered":"Un japon\u00e9s crea el primer aerogenerador capaz de desafiar a los tifones"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Jap\u00f3n vive cada a\u00f1o el impacto devastador de m\u00faltiples tifones, un fen\u00f3meno natural que Atsushi Shimizu sue\u00f1a en transformar en energ\u00eda gracias al primer aerogenerador capaz de resistir a una fuerza tan destructiva.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text\">Este ingeniero residente en Tokio desarroll\u00f3 una m\u00e1quina compuesta por un pilar central rodeado de tres cilindros que aprovecha el llamado efecto Magnus, del nombre de un f\u00edsico alem\u00e1n del siglo XIX, Gustav Magnus.<\/p>\n<div id=\"ds_cpp\" class=\"ds_cpp\">\n<div class=\"ds_cpp_inner\">\n<div class=\"ds_description\">\n<p class=\"ds_title\">Al igual que un bal\u00f3n de f\u00fatbol cambia de direcci\u00f3n al acercarse a la meta por el movimiento de rotaci\u00f3n dado por el jugador en el momento del lanzamiento, los cilindros permiten generar una fuerza que se utiliza para accionar un generador, gracias a las corrientes de aire y a las variaciones de presi\u00f3n en sus contornos.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p class=\"text\">Aunque ya existen otros aerogeneradores de efecto Magnus, como los del fabricante japon\u00e9s Mecaro, su forma tradicional, con cilindros en lugar de aspas, los convierten en m\u00e1s vulnerables a vientos muy violentos, superiores a 150 km\/h.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text\">Desde el accidente nuclear de Fukushima de marzo de 2011, que supuso un par\u00f3n en la energ\u00eda at\u00f3mica, Jap\u00f3n ha apostado sobre todo por la energ\u00eda solar para aumentar su cuota de energ\u00edas renovables.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text\">Y aunque el viento solo contribuye a la producci\u00f3n de electricidad a una escala muy modesta (menos de 1%), \u00abseg\u00fan las estimaciones la energ\u00eda e\u00f3lica tiene mayor potencial aqu\u00ed que la solar\u00bb, se\u00f1al\u00f3 a la AFP el inventor de 37 a\u00f1os, que dej\u00f3 su trabajo para lanzar su start-up Challenergy en 2014.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text\">En Jap\u00f3n, los vientos impredecibles y la abundancia de terrenos monta\u00f1osos no son favorables a los aerogeneradores cl\u00e1sicos de tres aspas, comunes en otros pa\u00edses, sin olvidar la amenaza de los tifones que pueden destruirlos.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text\">Algunos expertos son esc\u00e9pticos sobre la eficacia del invento de Atsushi Shimizu. \u00abUn aerogenerador como el de Challenergy podr\u00eda ser muy resistente a vientos fuertes pero dado que solo funcionar\u00eda durante una parte del a\u00f1o no sabemos si producir\u00eda m\u00e1s energ\u00eda que los tradicionales\u00bb, observa Izumi Ushiyama, del instituto de tecnolog\u00eda Ashikaga.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text\">Adem\u00e1s, como en el caso de otras energ\u00edas de este tipo, dependiente de la luz y\/o de las condiciones meteorol\u00f3gicas, un generador debe ir asociado a un dispositivo de almacenamiento y de regulaci\u00f3n de corriente.<\/p>\n<div id=\"advCard3\" class=\"advertising impactAdv visible\">\u00a0Si se pudiesen cargar bater\u00edas de gran capacidad durante un tif\u00f3n para alimentar despu\u00e9s a una regi\u00f3n, el inter\u00e9s ser\u00eda entonces notable.<\/div>\n<p class=\"text\">El verano pasado, Atsushi Shimizu y su equipo probaron con \u00e9xito un prototipo dotado de una potencia m\u00ednima (solamente 1 kilovatio) en el archipi\u00e9lago meridional de Okinawa, donde ha sobrevivido a potentes vientos.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text\">La peque\u00f1a compa\u00f1\u00eda espera empezar la producci\u00f3n en serie de m\u00e1quinas de 10 kW antes de los Juegos Ol\u00edmpicos de Tokio de 2020. Tambi\u00e9n sue\u00f1a con trabajar en el extranjero, en particular en Filipinas, Taiw\u00e1n y Estados Unidos.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text\">\u00abSi somos capaces de inventar un aerogenerador adaptado al medioambiente japon\u00e9s, seremos capaces de construirlo en muchos otros lugares del mundo que tienen un clima similar\u00bb, asegura Shimizu. \u00abEs nuestro sue\u00f1o\u00bb.<\/p>\n<div
