{"id":28662,"date":"2017-05-06T09:41:46","date_gmt":"2017-05-06T12:41:46","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/patagoniambiental.com.ar\/info\/?p=28662"},"modified":"2017-05-06T09:41:46","modified_gmt":"2017-05-06T12:41:46","slug":"argentina-acordara-construir-atucha-iii-y-una-quinta-central-nuclear","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/patagoniambiental.com.ar\/info\/argentina-acordara-construir-atucha-iii-y-una-quinta-central-nuclear\/","title":{"rendered":"Argentina acordar\u00e1 construir Atucha III y una quinta central nuclear"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"nodeFull\">\n<div>\n<div class=\"body\">\n<p>Argentina y China firmar\u00e1n el mi\u00e9rcoles 17 de mayo, en la ciudad de Beijing, un contrato marco para la construcci\u00f3n de dos nuevas centrales nucleares en el pa\u00eds -Atucha III y la quinta central nuclear-, con una inversi\u00f3n prevista de U$S 12.500 millones, confirm\u00f3 el subsecretario de Energ\u00eda Nuclear, Juli\u00e1n Gadano.<\/p>\n<p>De cara a ese acuerdo, que ser\u00e1 suscripto durante la pr\u00f3xima visita del presidente Mauricio Macri a China, \u00abtodav\u00eda faltan definir algunos detalles\u00bb, puntualiz\u00f3 el funcionario este mediod\u00eda durante una visita a la Central Nuclear Embalse, en C\u00f3rdoba, para observar las obras de modernizaci\u00f3n de la planta y el avance de los trabajos que permitir\u00e1n mejorar y ampliar su vida \u00fatil por otros 30 a\u00f1os.<\/p>\n<p>Gadano dijo que el an\u00e1lisis se centra en aspectos vinculados con la financiaci\u00f3n y amortizaci\u00f3n de ambos emprendimientos.<\/p>\n<p>El cr\u00e9dito para la realizaci\u00f3n de las obras tendr\u00e1 un plazo de \u00ab20 a\u00f1os, con un per\u00edodo de gracia de 8, es decir, se empezar\u00e1 a pagar cuando la planta ya estuviera funcionando\u00bb, aclar\u00f3 el funcionario y estim\u00f3 que la tasa de inter\u00e9s podr\u00eda rondar el 4,5 por ciento anual.<\/p>\n<p>\u00abSuponemos, casi con seguridad, que la tasa de inter\u00e9s tendr\u00e1 las condiciones \u00b4concesionales\u00b4, es decir mejores que las existentes en el mercado\u00bb, indic\u00f3 Gadano.<\/p>\n<p>En base a las previsiones, Atucha III -la cuarta central nuclear argentina- se construir\u00e1 en la localidad bonaerense de Lima, muy cerca de Atucha II, y contar\u00e1 con una potencia de 745 MW.<\/p>\n<p>La planta funcionar\u00e1 a base de uranio natural y agua pesada y probablemente, las obras comiencen a fines de este a\u00f1o o en 2018.<\/p>\n<p>Gadano especific\u00f3 que \u00abla construcci\u00f3n total de ese proyecto demandar\u00e1 unos 7 a\u00f1os y costar\u00e1 aproximadamente U$S 6 mil millones\u00bb.<\/p>\n<p>En lo que respecta a la quinta central nuclear, dijo que tendr\u00e1 una potencia de 1150 MW y funcionar\u00e1 con uranio enriquecido y agua liviana.<\/p>\n<p>Sobre este proyecto, evit\u00f3 dar precisiones sobre el lugar d\u00f3nde ser\u00e1 emplazado aunque aclar\u00f3 que \u00abno ser\u00e1 en la zona de Atucha\u00bb.<\/p>\n<p>Con tono enigm\u00e1tico, Gadano desliz\u00f3 que la V central se construir\u00e1 \u00aben una zona cercana a una fuente de agua fr\u00eda\u00bb.<\/p>\n<p>El funcionario aprovech\u00f3 la oportunidad para identificar los principales proyectos que propone la Subsecretar\u00eda a su cargo y, en ese contexto, mencion\u00f3 el CAREM, el RA10, el propio proyecto de extensi\u00f3n de vida de Embalse y \u00abla decisi\u00f3n de profundizar la apuesta tecnol\u00f3gica\u00bb en el organismo.<\/p>\n<p>Adem\u00e1s, anunci\u00f3 el lanzamiento de un proyecto de Pronoterapia, para la creaci\u00f3n de un centro m\u00e9dico \u00aben el sur de la provincia de Buenos Aires, que operar\u00e1 en conjunto entre la CNEA; la UBA y el propio gobierno bonaerense. \u00abSer\u00e1 un salto tecnol\u00f3gico muy importante\u00bb, enfatiz\u00f3 Gadano.<\/p>\n<p>En relaci\u00f3n espec\u00edfica con el proyecto de extensi\u00f3n de vida, por otros 30 a\u00f1os, de Embalse, el subsecretario expres\u00f3 su satisfacci\u00f3n por los avances registrados en las obras de modernizaci\u00f3n, lo cual permitir\u00e1 poner en marcha la planta \u00abseg\u00fan los plazos programados\u00bb.<\/p>\n<p>Se\u00f1al\u00f3 que \u00abya comenzaron los trabajos de reemplazo de los generadores de vapor\u00bb, lo cual constituye \u00abuna de las etapas m\u00e1s cr\u00edticas e importantes\u00bb del Proyecto de Extensi\u00f3n de Vida de la Central Nuclear.<\/p>\n<p>Para ese trabajo, se requiere una ingenier\u00eda de m\u00e1xima precisi\u00f3n y la colaboraci\u00f3n de una enorme gr\u00faa, con dos grandes gu\u00edas, que posibilitan movilizar los casi 140 toneladas que pesa cada uno de los generadores de vapor.<\/p>\n<p>En t\u00e9rminos generales, la Extensi\u00f3n de Vida es un proceso de reacondicionamiento que le permitir\u00e1 operar por un nuevo ciclo de 30 a\u00f1os y aumentar\u00e1 un 6 por ciento su capacidad de generaci\u00f3n actual.<\/p>\n<p>Las tareas de mejora de la Central ubicada en la costa sur del Embalse R\u00edo Tercero, incluyen entre otros el cambio de los tubos de presi\u00f3n, los generadores de vapor, las computadoras de proceso y la repotenciaci\u00f3n de la Planta.<\/p>\n<p>La potencia de Embalse genera energ\u00eda para m\u00e1s de tres millones de habitantes del pa\u00eds y llega principalmente, por medio del Sistema Interconectado Nacional, al Noroeste Argentino, Cuyo, Centro, Gran Buenos Aires y el Litoral.<\/p>\n<p>Desde su creaci\u00f3n y puesta en marcha, en 1984, Embalse oper\u00f3 con los m\u00e1s altos est\u00e1ndares de seguridad. A ra\u00edz de ello, la comunidad internacional especializada reconoci\u00f3 su aporte y logr\u00f3 que se mantuviera entre los 10 primeros puestos del ranking mundial de centrales nucleares.<\/p>\n<p>La planta, que entrega energ\u00eda limpia y no emite gases de efecto invernadero al ambiente, es una usina generadora de electricidad que opera con reactores CANDU (Canadian Deuterium Uranium) de uranio natural, utiliza agua pesada como refrigerante y moderador, y tubos de presi\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p>Desde que inici\u00f3 su operaci\u00f3n comercial en 1984, hasta el fin de su ciclo operativo en 2015, Embalse aport\u00f3 a la matriz energ\u00e9tica nacional 144.599.748 MW\/h., lo cual equivale a la energ\u00eda el\u00e9ctrica consumida por todo el pa\u00eds durante el lapso de dos a\u00f1os y medio.<\/p>\n<p>Adem\u00e1s, la Central Nuclear Embalse es uno de los principales abastecedores mundiales del is\u00f3topo Cobalto 60, que se utiliza para aplicaciones medicinales e industriales. La planta es la \u00fanica productora en la Argentina y Am\u00e9rica Latina.<\/p>\n<p>Nucleoel\u00e9ctrica Argentina S.A. ofrece una potencia el\u00e9ctrica bruta de 1750 MW, es una empresa generadora de energ\u00eda el\u00e9ctrica en forma nuclear y un protagonista importante para el desarrollo del Plan Nuclear Argentino.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div
