{"id":37723,"date":"2017-11-07T09:00:16","date_gmt":"2017-11-07T12:00:16","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/patagoniambiental.com.ar\/info\/?p=37723"},"modified":"2017-11-06T20:47:38","modified_gmt":"2017-11-06T23:47:38","slug":"omm-alerta-de-que-2017-va-camino-de-ser-uno-de-los-tres-mas-calidos-de-la-historia","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/patagoniambiental.com.ar\/info\/omm-alerta-de-que-2017-va-camino-de-ser-uno-de-los-tres-mas-calidos-de-la-historia\/","title":{"rendered":"OMM alerta de que 2017 va camino de ser uno de los tres m\u00e1s calidos de la historia"},"content":{"rendered":"<article class=\"post-listing post-97586 efe_noticias type-efe_noticias status-publish format-standard hentry tag-14116 tag-alerta tag-calor tag-cop23 tag-informe tag-omm area_geografica-espana area_geografica-internacional tematica-cambioclimatico tematica-cambio-climatico-esp-2 tipo_noticia-efe-recomienda\">\n<div class=\"post-inner\">\n<div class=\"entry\">\n<p class=\"entradilla\">La Organizaci\u00f3n Meteorol\u00f3gica Mundial (OMM) ha presentado hoy un informe en el que alerta de que 2017\u00a0va camino de convertirse en uno de los tres a\u00f1os m\u00e1s calurosos de los que se tiene registro, similar a 2015 y s\u00f3lo por debajo de 2016.<\/p>\n<p>La versi\u00f3n provisional de la \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/public.wmo.int\/en\/media\/press-release\/2017-set-be-top-three-hottest-years-record-breaking-extreme-weather\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Declaraci\u00f3n sobre el estado del clima mundial<\/a>\u201d destaca adem\u00e1s los\u00a0<em>\u201c<strong>numerosos episodios de efectos devastadores<\/strong><\/em>\u201d de este a\u00f1o como<strong>\u00a0huracanes e inundaciones, olas de calor y sequ\u00edas<\/strong>, y alerta del\u00a0<strong>repunte<\/strong>\u00a0de los principales indicadores del<strong>\u00a0calentamiento global<\/strong>\u00a0a largo plazo, como las\u00a0<strong>emisiones de gases<\/strong>\u00a0contaminantes o la\u00a0<strong>subida del nivel del mar<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>\u201c<em>Como consecuencia del intenso\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/public.wmo.int\/es\/media\/comunicados-de-prensa\/bolet%C3%ADn-el-ni%C3%B1ola-ni%C3%B1a-hoy-de-la-omm\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">episodio de El Ni\u00f1o<\/a>, es probable que el a\u00f1o 2016 contin\u00fae siendo el m\u00e1s c\u00e1lido del que se tenga registro, con 2017 y 2015 en segundo y\/o tercer lugar, respectivamente.\u00a0<strong>El per\u00edodo de 2013 a 2017 ser\u00e1 el quinquenio m\u00e1s c\u00e1lido jam\u00e1s registrado<\/strong><\/em>\u201c, asegura el informe, publicado con motivo del arranque de la<a href=\"https:\/\/cop23.unfccc.int\/es\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">\u00a0Cumbre del Clima\u00a0<\/a>en Bonn (oeste de Alemania).<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_97592\" class=\"wp-caption alignright\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.efeverde.com\/noticias\/omm-alerta-2017-calidos-historia\/alerta-por-el-calor-en-hungria\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-97592\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-97592\" src=\"http:\/\/www.efeverde.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/11\/calor-2017-verano-agua.jpg\" alt=\"agua-calor-fuente-\" width=\"360\" height=\"240\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-caption-text\">El calor de los \u00faltimos tres a\u00f1os parte de la tendencia al calentamiento a largo plazo, afirma Taalas, secretario general de la OMM. EFE\/Balazs Mohai<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>De enero a septiembre de 2017\u00a0<em>\u201cse registr\u00f3 una temperatura media global de aproximadamente<strong>\u00a01,1 grados cent\u00edgrados por encima de los niveles preindustriales<\/strong>\u201c<\/em>, indic\u00f3 en un comunicado la\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/wmo\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">OMM<\/a>, cuando los cient\u00edficos coinciden en que una subida de m\u00e1s de dos grados tendr\u00eda consecuencias catastr\u00f3ficas para el planeta.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cLos \u00faltimos tres a\u00f1os han estado entre los tres a\u00f1os m\u00e1s c\u00e1lidos en cuanto a registros de temperaturas. Es parte de la<strong>\u00a0tendencia al calentamiento a largo plazo\u201d<\/strong><\/em>, asegur\u00f3 el Secretario General de la OMM,\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/wmo\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Petteri Taalas<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h2>Calor por encima de los 50 grados<\/h2>\n<p>Adem\u00e1s, advirti\u00f3 de que en este a\u00f1o se han registrado\u00a0<strong><em>\u201cfen\u00f3menos meteorol\u00f3gicos extraordinarios\u201d<\/em><\/strong>, como temperaturas por\u00a0<em>\u201cencima de los 50 grados en Asia\u201d, \u201churacanes sin precedentes en el Caribe y el Atl\u00e1ntico que han llegado hasta Irlanda\u201d, \u201cdevastadoras inundaciones monz\u00f3nicas que han afectado a muchos millones de personas\u201d<\/em>, as\u00ed como \u201c<em>una sequ\u00eda implacable en \u00c1frica oriental\u201d<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>Muchos de estos episodios, a su juicio, aportan \u201c<em>se\u00f1ales reveladoras del cambio clim\u00e1tico\u201d<\/em>\u00a0debido al \u201c<em>aumento de las concentraciones de gases de efecto invernadero resultantes de la actividad humana\u201d<\/em>.<\/p>\n<h2>Los riesgos del calentamiento global<\/h2>\n<div id=\"attachment_97594\" class=\"wp-caption alignleft\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.efeverde.com\/noticias\/omm-alerta-2017-calidos-historia\/cop23-patricia-espinosa\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-97594\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-97594\" src=\"http:\/\/www.efeverde.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/11\/COP23-Patricia-Espinosa.jpg\" alt=\"Patricia Espinosa- UNFCCC\" width=\"350\" height=\"214\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-caption-text\">Espinosa, secretaria de la UNFCCC, afirma que estos datos \u201cponen de relieve los crecientes riesgos para las personas, las econom\u00edas y la vida en la Tierra\u201d del calentamiento global. EFE\/Ronald Wittek<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>La mexicana Patricia Espinosa, secretaria ejecutiva de la Convenci\u00f3n Marco de las Naciones Unidas sobre el Cambio Clim\u00e1tico (<a href=\"https:\/\/cop23.unfccc.int\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">UNFCCC<\/a>) que acoge la cita de Bonn, asegur\u00f3 que estos datos \u201c<em>ponen de relieve los crecientes riesgos para las personas, las econom\u00edas y el propio tejido de la vida en la Tierra<\/em>\u201d del calentamiento global.<\/p>\n<p>Por eso, inst\u00f3 a pa\u00edses e industrias a avanzar hacia un\u00a0<em>\u201cnivel m\u00e1s alto de ambici\u00f3n<\/em>\u201d en el recorte de emisiones de gases contaminantes, con el objetivo de\u00a0<em>\u201creducir el riesgo del futuro<\/em>\u201d y\u00a0<em>\u201cmaximizar las oportunidades\u201d<\/em>\u00a0del desarrollo sostenible.<\/p>\n<p>El estudio destaca la intensidad de la temporada cicl\u00f3nica en el Atl\u00e1ntico Norte y destaca por su violencia, su impacto y el corto intervalo de tiempo en el que se sucedieron los huracanes Harvey, Irma y Mar\u00eda.<\/p>\n<h2>Un hurac\u00e1n a 1.000 km de lo habitual<\/h2>\n<p>Adem\u00e1s, se\u00f1ala que el\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.cyclocane.com\/es\/trayectoria-del-huracan-ophelia\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">hurac\u00e1n Ophelia<\/a>, que azot\u00f3 Irlanda, se registr\u00f3 mil kil\u00f3metros m\u00e1s al norte que ning\u00fan otro y sus vientos asociados contribuyeron a provocar incendios de gran magnitud en Portugal y Espa\u00f1a.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_97595\" class=\"wp-caption alignright\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.efeverde.com\/noticias\/omm-alerta-2017-calidos-historia\/huracan-ofelia\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-97595\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-97595\" src=\"http:\/\/www.efeverde.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/11\/hurac%C3%A1n-Ofelia.jpg\" alt=\"hurac\u00e1n Ofelia-Irlanda-\" width=\"400\" height=\"266\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-caption-text\">La OMM recuerda que el hurac\u00e1n Ophelia se registr\u00f3 en Irlanda, mil kil\u00f3metros m\u00e1s al norte de lo habitual. EFE\/ Aidan Crawley<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>La OMM considera que, si bien no existen pruebas concluyentes de la influencia del cambio clim\u00e1tico en los huracanes, es \u201cprobable\u201d que el calentamiento global provoque que\u00a0<em>\u201clas precipitaciones sean m\u00e1s intensas\u201d<\/em>\u00a0y \u201c<em>que el actual aumento de nivel del mar acreciente los efectos de las mareas de tempestad<\/em>\u201c.<\/p>\n<p>El documento recoge asimismo las\u00a0<strong>fuertes lluvias<\/strong>que provocaron deslizamientos en Sur\u00e1frica y Colombia, con m\u00e1s de 500 y al menos 273 muertos respectivamente, y las fuertes inundaciones que dejaron m\u00e1s de 1.200 v\u00edctimas mortales en India, Bangladesh y Nepal, y 75 en Per\u00fa.<\/p>\n<p>Asimismo subraya que en zonas del sur de Europa, \u00c1frica oriental y la parte asi\u00e1tica de Rusia se sufrieron \u201c<em><strong>temperaturas m\u00e1ximas sin precedentes\u201d<\/strong><\/em>, puntos donde tambi\u00e9n se han producido fuertes sequ\u00edas.<\/p>\n<p>Por \u00faltimo, el texto incide en las<strong>\u00a0olas de calor<\/strong>\u00a0que se han producido este a\u00f1o en Chile, Argentina, California y
