{"id":46108,"date":"2018-05-10T09:00:37","date_gmt":"2018-05-10T12:00:37","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/patagoniambiental.com.ar\/info\/?p=46108"},"modified":"2018-05-09T18:22:15","modified_gmt":"2018-05-09T21:22:15","slug":"microalgas-y-bacterias-para-reducir-las-emisiones-de-gases-de-efecto-invernadero","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/patagoniambiental.com.ar\/info\/microalgas-y-bacterias-para-reducir-las-emisiones-de-gases-de-efecto-invernadero\/","title":{"rendered":"Microalgas y bacterias para reducir las emisiones de gases de efecto invernadero"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Un equipo de investigadores, entre ellos bi\u00f3logos e ingenieros espa\u00f1oles, present\u00f3 un proyecto de investigaci\u00f3n que profundiza en el estudio de las energ\u00edas renovables y en la b\u00fasqueda de alternativas para reducir las emisiones de Gases de Efecto Invernadero (GEIs) en todo el mundo.<\/p>\n<p>La investigaci\u00f3n surgi\u00f3 ante la creciente demanda de energ\u00eda a nivel mundial, la cual procede en m\u00e1s de un 85 por ciento de los combustibles f\u00f3siles como el carb\u00f3n, gas natural o petr\u00f3leo y aproximadamente el 80 por ciento de las emisiones de di\u00f3xido de carbono a la atm\u00f3sfera provienen de este tipo de combustibles.<\/p>\n<p>A partir de eso, una de las principales medidas para la reducci\u00f3n de emisiones de GEIs pasa por la b\u00fasqueda de nuevas alternativas a estos combustibles f\u00f3siles. El biog\u00e1s, cuya producci\u00f3n en Europa alcanzar\u00e1 los 20 billones de nan\u00f3metros c\u00fabicos al a\u00f1o en 2030, constituye el subproducto con mayor potencial de revalorizaci\u00f3n y se presenta como una de las fuentes de energ\u00eda renovables m\u00e1s prometedoras.<\/p>\n<p>A pesar de su enorme potencial, el costo elevado de su producci\u00f3n, unido a la falta de incentivos fiscales para su uso y a la presencia de contaminantes han limitado el aprovechamiento de este biog\u00e1s.<\/p>\n<p>El proyecto que este equipo va a desarrollar pretende, a trav\u00e9s de la optimizaci\u00f3n del dise\u00f1o y operaci\u00f3n de procesos simbi\u00f3ticos de microalgas-bacterias, contribuir a la creaci\u00f3n de una bioeconom\u00eda menos dependiente de combustibles f\u00f3siles y basada en el uso de materias primas biol\u00f3gicas. Este proceso es medioambientalmente m\u00e1s amigable y m\u00e1s econ\u00f3mico que cualquier proceso de conversi\u00f3n de reducci\u00f3n de di\u00f3xido de carbono a productos
