Los temidos l\u00edmites de 450 ppm de CO2 en la atm\u00f3sfera o 2\u00ba de temperatura por encima de las medias preindustriales est\u00e1n cada vez m\u00e1s cerca. Y mientras tanto, la humanidad no consigue terminar de establecer medidas efectivas contra el cambio clim\u00e1tico.<\/p>\n<p>Nos estamos quedando sin tiempo. Es por ello que empiezan a surgir opciones que tratan de paliar, aparentemente de forma r\u00e1pida, las consecuencias del cambio clim\u00e1tico. Miramos a China que en los \u00faltimos a\u00f1os no solo ha decidido aplicar pol\u00edticas medioambientales m\u00e1s restrictivas a favor de la lucha con el cambio clim\u00e1tico si no que, paralelamente, trata ya de evitar sus efectos.<\/p>\n<h2>Experimento novedoso para generar lluvia artificial<\/h2>\n<p>En concreto vamos a hablar de la\u00a0<strong>generaci\u00f3n artificial de lluvia<\/strong>, un sistema basado en aumentar de forma artificial los n\u00facleos de condensaci\u00f3n \u2013utilizando generalmente sales de ioduro de plata- de una nube. Los primeros intentos de sembrado de nubes se hicieron a ca\u00f1onazos aunque r\u00e1pidamente se opt\u00f3 por lanzar las sales con la ayuda de aviones\/avionetas. En este sentido, China ya trabaj\u00f3 con este tipo de experimentos para evitar que lloviese en la ceremonia inaugural de los juegos ol\u00edmpicos de Pek\u00edn de 2008. Ahora ha dado un paso m\u00e1s all\u00e1 con la creaci\u00f3n del proyecto m\u00e1s ambicioso y extenso, hasta la fecha, en obtenci\u00f3n de lluvia artificial con el que pretender aportar precipitaci\u00f3n a una de las zonas m\u00e1s secas de su pa\u00eds. Hablamos de la meseta tibetana, situada al norte de las monta\u00f1as del T\u00edbet. Lo interesante del experimento es que no solo van a aportar m\u00e1s agua a la zona si no que el resto del pa\u00eds tambi\u00e9n saldr\u00e1 beneficiado, pues sus grandes r\u00edos nacen all\u00ed y bajar\u00edan m\u00e1s caudalosos.<\/p>\n<p>\u00bfQu\u00e9 hicieron? Colocaron 500 c\u00e1maras de combusti\u00f3n en la cara sur de las monta\u00f1as del T\u00edbet en las que se generar\u00e1, por combusti\u00f3n, ioduro de plata.\u00a0<strong>Al adentrarse el viento sur monz\u00f3nico, h\u00famedo, ayudado por el ioduro de plata ser\u00e1 capaz de generar nubes que podr\u00e1n precipitar a sotavento dejando la ansiada agua en la planicie.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h2>La necesidad de legislaci\u00f3n<\/h2>\n<p>Los primeros experimentos de generaci\u00f3n artificial de lluvia suscitaron r\u00e1pidamente un debate sobre la titularidad del vapor de agua. \u00bfQui\u00e9n tiene derecho a apropi\u00e1rselo dejando sin opciones de lluvia a sus vecinos? \u00bfEstamos seguros de que esa siembra de nubes no va a provocar inundaciones que incluso podr\u00edan afectar a nuestros pa\u00edses adyacentes? Si bien \u00e9ste no es el caso del experimento chino,\u00a0<strong>parece clara la necesidad de legislaci\u00f3n sobre esta cuesti\u00f3n<\/strong>\u00a0y m\u00e1s si tenemos en cuenta que la geoingenier\u00eda llama ya a nuestras puertas y en ese caso hablamos de procesos mucho m\u00e1s intrusivos y de consecuencias previsiblemente bastante m\u00e1s significativas\u2026<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"modulo
