class=\"entradilla\">La transici\u00f3n hacia una movilidad basada en energ\u00edas limpias en el transporte podr\u00eda suponer una reducci\u00f3n de las actuales emisiones de CO2 en turismos de hasta un 27,8 % para el a\u00f1o 2030 y de un 91,6 % en 2050.<\/p>\n<p id=\"primero\" class=\"txt\">As\u00ed lo se\u00f1ala el estudio\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.camecon.com\/how\/our-work\/fuelling-spains-future\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">\u2018Repostando hacia el futuro\u2019<\/a>, elaborado por un grupo de entidades liderado por la consultora\u00a0<strong>Cambridge Econometrics<\/strong>\u00a0y que ha sido presentado hoy en Madrid como parte de las jornadas sobre descarbonizaci\u00f3n en el sector del transporte organizadas por\u00a0<strong>Ecodes<\/strong>\u00a0y la\u00a0<strong>Federaci\u00f3n Europea de Transporte y Medio Ambiente<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<div class=\"box shadow\">\n<div class=\"box-inner-block\"><i class=\"tieicon-boxicon\"><\/i>Este trabajo, expuesto por el responsable de proyecto Stijn Van Hummelen,\u00a0contrasta\u00a0casos hipot\u00e9ticos con distintos grados de movilidad sostenible: desde situaciones que prolongan en el futuro las condiciones actuales del sector hasta otras que plantean un despliegue \u201cm\u00e1s ambicioso\u201d de veh\u00edculos h\u00edbridos, el\u00e9ctricos y de hidr\u00f3geno, con cero emisiones.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p class=\"txt\">Este \u00faltimo panorama ha sido tomado como escenario central del documento \u201cdada la evoluci\u00f3n prevista para la tecnolog\u00eda y la pol\u00edtica\u201d y supondr\u00eda, adem\u00e1s de los beneficios ambientales, un ahorro que permitir\u00eda incrementar hasta 3.191 millones de euros en el PIB para el a\u00f1o 2030, as\u00ed como la creaci\u00f3n de hasta 23.185 empleos netos.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"txt\">Contaminaci\u00f3n del aire<\/h2>\n<p class=\"txt\">El transporte es la principal causa de contaminaci\u00f3n del aire en Espa\u00f1a, seg\u00fan ha recordado el vicepresidente del Real Instituto Elcano, Rafael Estrella, y de hecho \u201cen 2016, el transporte supuso un 27 % de las emisiones totales a nivel nacional\u201d.<\/p>\n<p class=\"txt\">El director de Ecodes, V\u00edctor Vi\u00f1uales, ha a\u00f1adido que, frente a las \u201ct\u00edmidas cifras de mejora\u201d de la UE en 2017, las emisiones de gases de efecto invernadero \u201caumentaron en Espa\u00f1a en un 4,4 %\u201d.<\/p>\n<p class=\"txt\">Por ello ha reconocido la necesidad de implicar a diversos actores \u201ccomo los ciudadanos, administraciones, instituciones y ONGs\u201d en el trabajo para revertir esta tendencia.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"txt\">Recomendaciones pol\u00edticas<\/h2>\n<p class=\"txt\">Esta jornada tambi\u00e9n ha servido para plantear una serie de estrategias pol\u00edticas para la reducci\u00f3n de emisiones en el sector del transporte en Espa\u00f1a, recogidas en\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.transportenvironment.org\/publications\/emission-reduction-strategies-transport-sector-spain\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">otro informe<\/a>\u00a0elaborado a cargo de la\u00a0<strong>European Climate Initiative (EUKI).<\/strong><\/p>\n<div class=\"box shadow\">\n<div class=\"box-inner-block\"><i class=\"tieicon-boxicon\"><\/i>Estas recomendaciones incluyen medidas como la creaci\u00f3n de nuevos impuestos al combustible, la tarificaci\u00f3n vial por contaminaci\u00f3n, el impulso de coches de uso compartido, el transporte de mercanc\u00edas por ferrocarril el\u00e9ctrico o el desarrollo de un sistema de transporte p\u00fablico \u201casequible y de alta calidad\u201d, entre otras.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p class=\"txt\">La directora para la\u00a0<strong>Oficina Espa\u00f1ola de Cambio Clim\u00e1tico<\/strong>, Valvanera Ulargui, ha intervenido tambi\u00e9n en el acto para se\u00f1alar que \u201cnos encontramos en un a\u00f1o de revisi\u00f3n de compromisos\u201d en el que se har\u00e1 necesario \u201ccomenzar a aplicar mejoras\u201d para alcanzar los objetivos marco de la UE de reducci\u00f3n de emisiones y aumento de eficiencia.<\/p>\n<p class=\"txt\">Para ello, Ulargui se ha referido a \u201cestrategias e instrumentos\u201d que ser\u00e1n incluidos en la futura Ley de Cambio Clim\u00e1tico, que recoger\u00e1 \u201cobjetivos m\u00e1s ambiciosos\u201d, y el Plan Nacional de Energ\u00eda y Clima, \u201cque desgranar\u00e1 la letra peque\u00f1a\u201d de la anterior.<\/p>\n<p class=\"txt\">Ulargui ha subrayado como prioridad la apuesta por un enfoque transversal de la ley, incluyendo sectores como el transporte e impulsando la adaptaci\u00f3n hacia una transici\u00f3n justa que proteja los ecosistemas a la par que el sistema socioecon\u00f3mico.
