lo habitual, con una mayor probabilidad de alcanzar niveles extremos, seg\u00fan un estudio publicado por la revista Nature Communications.<\/p>\n<p>Este aumento, de acuerdo con los investigadores, \u201cpodr\u00eda atribuirse a factores externos (como las emisiones de gases de efecto invernadero) o a la variabilidad natural del sistema clim\u00e1tico (fluctuaciones que se producen en plazos cortos, que comprenden desde meses hasta 30 a\u00f1os), la cual es m\u00e1s dif\u00edcil de predecir\u201d.<\/p>\n<h2>Ascenso de la temperatura<\/h2>\n<p>El pron\u00f3stico obtenido para el periodo 2018-2022 apunta a que el calentamiento debido a la variabilidad natural reforzar\u00e1 temporalmente la tendencia del calentamiento global -que, a diferencia del primero, afecta a largo plazo-, lo que llevar\u00e1 a un aumento en la\u00a0<strong>probabilidad de experimentar temperaturas extremas.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Las averiguaciones se alcanzaron gracias al llamado PROCAST, un modelo estad\u00edstico que, a trav\u00e9s de un ordenador port\u00e1til, produce predicciones de la temperatura media global en pocas cent\u00e9simas de segundo.<\/p>\n<p>El m\u00e9todo abre la posibilidad de que estos c\u00e1lculos se puedan realizar a tiempo real desde dispositivos personales, seg\u00fan se destac\u00f3 desde el estudio, elaborado por la Universidad de Brest (Francia).<\/p>\n<p>Los acad\u00e9micos Florian Sevellec y Sybren Drijfhout fueron los responsables del desarrollo de este modelo estad\u00edstico basado en \u201coperadores de transferencia\u201d, un m\u00e9todo que racionaliza el comportamiento ca\u00f3tico de un sistema.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cPROCAST es extremadamente eficiente en t\u00e9rminos num\u00e9ricos, aunque \u00fanicamente es capaz de pronosticar una sola m\u00e9trica\u201d, detall\u00f3 la investigaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSin embargo, este sistema se podr\u00eda ajustar f\u00e1cilmente para predecir otros cambios relevantes del clima, como las precipitaciones, o para centrarse en escalas de \u00e1mbito regional\u201d, concluy\u00f3.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Fuente:
