El estudio tiene como objetivo generar soluciones y verificarlas experimentalmente a escala piloto, para que, en un futuro, los resultados puedan ser tomados por agencias p\u00fablicas o actores privados para su utilizaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p>El doctor en Ingenier\u00eda Ignacio Mas, investigador adjunto del CONICET en el Instituto Tecnol\u00f3gico de Buenos Aires y profesor adjunto en la Universidad de Buenos Aires, indic\u00f3: \u201cActualmente estamos trabajando en un proyecto que se centra en utilizar grupos de robots marinos para realizar tareas de monitoreo ambiental, como la creaci\u00f3n de mapas de los m\u00e1rgenes de arroyos y r\u00edos para estudiar la degradaci\u00f3n de costas o la medici\u00f3n de los niveles de contaminaci\u00f3n de agua\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cEn general, el monitoreo de aguas se realiza con sensores colocados en posiciones fijas o utilizando buques tripulados, con la complejidad operacional que ello conlleva. Esta utilizaci\u00f3n de robots permite una cobertura mucho mayor y a un menor costo, facilitando adem\u00e1s la repetitividad\u201d, mencion\u00f3 a la\u00a0<strong>Agencia CTyS-UNLaM<\/strong>\u00a0el director del proyecto.<\/p>\n<p>En esta misma l\u00ednea, asegur\u00f3 que estas ventajas son a\u00fan mayores si se utiliza no s\u00f3lo uno sino un grupo de robots aut\u00f3nomos, que convierten al sistema en una red din\u00e1mica de sensores que pueden cubrir distintas \u00e1reas dependiendo de fen\u00f3menos particulares que puedan ocurrir, como pueden ser focos de contaminaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p>Asimismo, el doctor Juan Ignacio Giribet, investigador adjunto del Instituto Argentino de Matem\u00e1tica (IAM-CONICET) y profesor asociado de la Universidad de Buenos Aires, agreg\u00f3: \u201cNuestro objetivo, ya en el plano experimental, es la utilizaci\u00f3n de veh\u00edculos marinos juntamente con veh\u00edculos a\u00e9reos, para que, de manera aut\u00f3noma, puedan sumar sus caracter\u00edsticas y as\u00ed generar sistemas complejos de capacidades superiores\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Por su parte, el ingeniero Leonardo Garberoglio, docente en la Universidad Tecnol\u00f3gica Nacional-Regional San Nicol\u00e1s e investigador del proyecto, explic\u00f3 que abordan un sistema donde un dron equipado con una c\u00e1mara de video puede asistir al robot acu\u00e1tico en su navegaci\u00f3n para detectar el mejor camino a seguir en un cauce o posibles obst\u00e1culos que encontrar\u00e1 en su camino y planear su trayectoria de manera acorde.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cLa manera de coordinar de forma autom\u00e1tica los movimientos de los distintos veh\u00edculos o la forma de intercambiar informaci\u00f3n entre ellos son desaf\u00edos cient\u00edficos que nos interesan abordar\u201d, manifest\u00f3 Garberoglio, tambi\u00e9n doctorando en la UTN-Facultad Regional Buenos Aires.<\/p>\n<p>Este proyecto es financiado por la Agencia I+D+i (Agencia Nacional de Promoci\u00f3n de la Investigaci\u00f3n, el Desarrollo Tecnol\u00f3gico y la Innovaci\u00f3n) y es el resultado de una colaboraci\u00f3n entre el Instituto Tecnol\u00f3gico
