{"id":69896,"date":"2020-12-01T19:00:19","date_gmt":"2020-12-01T22:00:19","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/patagoniambiental.com.ar\/info\/?p=69896"},"modified":"2020-12-01T17:35:32","modified_gmt":"2020-12-01T20:35:32","slug":"ambiente-de-nacion-evaluo-los-niveles-de-toxicidad-en-el-agua-producida-por-cianobacterias","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/patagoniambiental.com.ar\/info\/ambiente-de-nacion-evaluo-los-niveles-de-toxicidad-en-el-agua-producida-por-cianobacterias\/","title":{"rendered":"Ambiente de Naci\u00f3n evalu\u00f3 los niveles de toxicidad en el agua producida por cianobacterias"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>Ciudad Aut\u00f3noma de Buenos Aires, 1 de diciembre de 2020.-Contin\u00faan las acciones de monitoreo por parte de la cartera ambiental nacional frente a la proliferaci\u00f3n de cianobacterias en el R\u00edo de la Plata.<\/div>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>\u00a0El Ministerio de Ambiente y Desarrollo Sostenible de la Naci\u00f3n a trav\u00e9s de la Brigada de Control Ambiental (BCA), se traslad\u00f3 ayer hacia el municipio de Tigre, provincia de Buenos Aires, donde realiz\u00f3 un operativo para la toma de muestras de agua en diversos puntos del delta del r\u00edo Paran\u00e1, con el objetivo de analizar el grado de toxicidad presente por efecto de cianobacterias.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>\u201cFrente a la floraci\u00f3n de las cianobacterias y el riesgo que supone la aparici\u00f3n de estas bacterias t\u00f3xicas, el Ministerio de Ambiente decidi\u00f3 tomar muestras rigurosas y sistem\u00e1ticas con el fin de determinar el grado de toxicidad del agua donde aparecen estos microorganismos\u201d, afirm\u00f3 el secretario de Control y Monitoreo Ambiental de la cartera ambiental de la Naci\u00f3n, Sergio Federovisky. Respecto a los resultados, Federovisky declar\u00f3 que \u201clas \u00faltimas mediciones indican grados de toxicidad preocupantes frente a lo cual el Ministerio desarrolla pol\u00edticas activas para conocer la capacidad de potabilizaci\u00f3n del agua de las empresas proveedoras y as\u00ed establecer protocolos con los municipios que determinen en qu\u00e9 momento debe prohibirse el acceso, la ingesta e incluso la pesca en zonas que est\u00e9n con altos niveles de floraci\u00f3n de cianobacterias y por lo tanto de toxicidad\u201d.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Cabe recordar que el 25 de noviembre la misma cartera nacional realiz\u00f3 la segunda reuni\u00f3n de la comisi\u00f3n interinstitucional que cre\u00f3 para darle tratamiento a la formaci\u00f3n excesiva de cianobacterias en el R\u00edo de La Plata. En dicha instancia, se acord\u00f3 el despliegue de campa\u00f1as de monitoreo sostenidas en el tiempo por medio de im\u00e1genes satelitales y muestreo de aguas para advertir de forma temprana la proliferaci\u00f3n de dichos microorganismos y de esa manera implementar las medidas para controlar sus impactos; entre otras resoluciones relevantes. La comisi\u00f3n est\u00e1 conformada por las provincias involucradas a trav\u00e9s del Consejo Federal de Medio Ambiente (COFEMA); empresas proveedoras de agua, como Agua y Saneamientos Argentinos (AySA) y Aguas Bonaerenses S.A. (ABSA); y miembros del Consejo Nacional de Investigaciones Cient\u00edficas y T\u00e9cnicas (CONICET).<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Adem\u00e1s, en esa misma fecha la BCA realiz\u00f3 en los distritos bonaerenses de Berazategui y Ensenada otro operativo de fiscalizaci\u00f3n de aguas motivado por la problem\u00e1tica descrita.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Las cianobacterias son organismos microsc\u00f3picos que se nutren de la materia org\u00e1nica del agua y son identificables por su tonalidad azul verdosa. Habida cuenta que liberan toxinas al medio en el que se encuentran, pueden tornarse un problema para la salud ambiental y de las personas. Su proliferaci\u00f3n en el R\u00edo de la Plata responde a una multiplicidad de factores: la bajante hist\u00f3rica que acontece en su extensi\u00f3n; la cantidad de efluentes vertidos, que en el contexto antes mencionado redunda en una mayor concentraci\u00f3n; y el aumento de la temperatura estacional y como efecto del cambio clim\u00e1tico.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>El Ministerio de Ambiente y Desarrollo Sostenible junto a Prefectura Naval Argentina continuar\u00e1 la pr\u00f3xima semana con la toma de muestras en los distritos de San Isidro, Palermo, Puerto de Buenos Aires, Quilmes, Berazategui y Punta Lara. Cabe mencionar que el monitoreo realizado por la cartera ambiental nacional continuar\u00e1 de manera sistem\u00e1tica durante todo el per\u00edodo de verano debido a que se prev\u00e9 que con las
