Ingeniero Huergo.-Hallazgo de Pel\u00edcano peruano(Pelecanus thagus)Domingo 30\/05\/2021.En horas del mediod\u00eda, personal de la Direcci\u00f3n de Fauna Silvestre, dependiente de la Secretar\u00eda de Ambiente y Cambio Clim\u00e1tico provincial, con asiento en General Roca, recibi\u00f3 un llamado del personal policial de la Brigada Rural de Ingeniero Huergo, dando parte de la aparici\u00f3n de un Pel\u00edcano, ave marina de gran tama\u00f1o, en el puesto Fern\u00e1ndez, en la zona de bardas norte de esa localidad. La familia residente en el lugar, se encontr\u00f3 con la sorpresa a media ma\u00f1ana, cuando en el patio de su vivienda, apareci\u00f3 \u00e9ste ave de gran tama\u00f1o y dieron aviso a la polic\u00eda.Personal de la Direcci\u00f3n de Fauna junto a la Brigada Rural de Ingeniero Huergo, procedieron al rescate del animal y posterior traslado al Zool\u00f3gico Bubalc\u00f3, donde se encuentra a resguardo.Se trata de un ave marina que se alimenta de peces, habita la costa del Oc\u00e9ano Pac\u00edfico desde Ecuador hasta el sur de Chile y presumiblemente habr\u00eda llegado a la regi\u00f3n por fuertes tormentas en la zona cordillerana, desorientando al animal.Se trata de un ejemplar juvenil y ya existen otros pocos registros en Argentina de la presencia ocasional de la especie, como en Mendoza y Chubut.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
