Foto: gentileza Triptio.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>La minera mendocina Electric Metals SA\u00a0<strong>present\u00f3 cuatro solicitudes de cateo para explorar rocas que pueden ser portadoras de litio<\/strong>. La firma act\u00faa en representaci\u00f3n de GreenShift Commodities, una minera canadiense que busca\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.rionegro.com.ar\/energia\/se-agranda-el-litio-una-minera-apuesta-a-explorar-el-metal-en-rio-negro-neuquen-y-chubut-2629170\/\">estudiar el litio en R\u00edo Negro, Neuqu\u00e9n y Chubut<\/a>.\u00a0<strong>En total solicitaron el cateo para 40.000 hect\u00e1reas ubicadas cerca de Piedra del \u00c1guila<\/strong>, en el departamento Coll\u00f3n Cur\u00e1.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00abSe registraron cuatro solicitudes de cateos donde&nbsp;<strong>se presume que tienen como finalidad la exploraci\u00f3n de rocas portadoras de litio<\/strong>. Los cateos pueden estar orientados a determinados minerales, pero tambi\u00e9n pueden surgir otros de la primera categor\u00eda\u00bb, explic\u00f3 el director provincial de miner\u00eda,&nbsp;<strong>Carlos Portilla<\/strong>&nbsp;en di\u00e1logo con&nbsp;<strong>Energ\u00eda On<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Estas solicitudes&nbsp;<strong>se ubican al sur de la provincia<\/strong>, cerca de la localidad de Piedra del \u00c1guila. \u00abEstar\u00edan orientados a la&nbsp;<strong>b\u00fasqueda de espodumeno<\/strong>, el mineral que contiene al litio\u00bb, subray\u00f3. Se trata de 40.000&nbsp;<strong>hect\u00e1reas cercanas al l\u00edmite con R\u00edo Negro<\/strong>, provincia donde se concentra la mayor cantidad de superficie que pretende estudiar la minera canadiense a trav\u00e9s de su \u00abProyecto R\u00edo Negro\u00bb.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Si todo el tr\u00e1mite se efet\u00faa sin ning\u00fan tipo de inconvenientes y \u00absi en paralelo, la empresa esta o cualquier otra, fuera cumpliendo con las obligaciones ambientales, que es la presentaci\u00f3n de un Informe de Impacto Ambiental, entonces&nbsp;<strong>entre 80 y 90 d\u00edas estar\u00eda resuelta la solicitud<\/strong>\u00ab, detall\u00f3 el referente.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sin embargo,&nbsp;<strong>es considerable la cantidad de casos donde este periodo de tiempo se extiende<\/strong>. A veces sucede que \u00abpuede haber superficiantes involucrados. Entonces hay que darle la comunicaci\u00f3n correspondiente de que en su tierra, en su fracci\u00f3n, en sus lotes,&nbsp;<strong>se est\u00e1 generando y gestionando un pedido de cateo<\/strong>\u00ab, ejemplific\u00f3.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.rionegro.com.ar\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/04\/mapa-1.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-2836100\"\/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">La mayor\u00eda de las hect\u00e1reas a explorar del proyecto se ubican en R\u00edo Negro. Foto: gentileza.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00abEsto<strong>&nbsp;no es vinculante a la hora de decidir si se otorga o no un cateo<\/strong>, pero el C\u00f3digo Nacional de Miner\u00eda indica que hay que comunicarle a los superficiantes sobre esta situaci\u00f3n\u00bb, expres\u00f3. Hay casos donde puede suceder que no tienen un domicilio legal establecido por lo que deben gestionar el tr\u00e1mite. \u00ab<strong>Todos esos procesos llevan su tiempo y alargan la aprobaci\u00f3n<\/strong>\u00ab, marc\u00f3.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Una vez terminada la cuesti\u00f3n administrativa y aprobada la solicitud, \u00ab<strong>se emite una resoluci\u00f3n de concesi\u00f3n<\/strong>&nbsp;que se libra en tanto y en cuanto tambi\u00e9n est\u00e9 aprobado el informe de Impacto Ambiental para esa exploraci\u00f3n\u00bb, indic\u00f3.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En R\u00edo Negro, la secretar\u00eda de Energ\u00eda hab\u00eda confirmado a este medio que las empresas que operan en representaci\u00f3n de Green Shift&nbsp;son Formentera SA y Electric Metals SA. Seg\u00fan informaron, son las que&nbsp;<strong>est\u00e1n haciendo las solicitudes de los derechos mineros<\/strong>. En la actualidad, la presentaci\u00f3n de documentaci\u00f3n est\u00e1 siendo evaluada por la secretar\u00eda de Miner\u00eda.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.rionegro.com.ar\/energia\/rio-negro-y-neuquen-quieren-sumarse-al-tren-del-litio-2810704\/\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.rionegro.com.ar\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/03\/comalloo.png?w=215&amp;h=120\" alt=\"\"\/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Por el momento, Portilla prefiri\u00f3 no hablar de expectativas: \u00abel litio que proviene de la roca dura, del espodumeno, ciertamente debe cumplir con un grado de pureza y de&nbsp;<strong>concentraci\u00f3n lo suficientemente apto como para justificar la explotaci\u00f3n<\/strong>\u00ab.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00abNosotros&nbsp;<strong>preferimos siempre ir paso a paso&nbsp;<\/strong>en el sentido de tener primero la certeza de que se explora y de que el mineral existe. Son procesos largos de inversi\u00f3n totalmente a riesgo que&nbsp;<strong>todos esperamos que llegue a un buen puerto, que tengan \u00e9xito<\/strong>\u00ab, concluy\u00f3.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:100px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-los-metodos-de-exploracion-que-podria-usar-la-firma-para-encontrar-litio-en-neuquen\">Los m\u00e9todos de exploraci\u00f3n que podr\u00eda usar la firma para encontrar litio en Neuqu\u00e9n<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Seg\u00fan explic\u00f3 Portilla,&nbsp;<strong>los m\u00e9todos exploratorios pueden variar entre superficiales<\/strong>, a trav\u00e9s de trincheras o zanjas;&nbsp;<strong>perforaciones a profundidad o tambi\u00e9n un m\u00e9todo indirecto<\/strong>&nbsp;de exploraci\u00f3n, como puede ser el de exploraci\u00f3n geoel\u00e9ctrica.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En estos \u00faltimos \u00abse hace una exploraci\u00f3n indirecta a trav\u00e9s de la&nbsp;<strong>emisi\u00f3n de corrientes el\u00e9ctricas&nbsp;<\/strong>que, seg\u00fan atraviesan las distintas formaciones rocosas, identifican si la estructura sigue a profundidad. Si sigue,&nbsp;<strong>tambi\u00e9n se puede determinar con alg\u00fan grado de certeza de qu\u00e9 mineral se trata<\/strong>\u00ab, coment\u00f3.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En el caso del cateo previsto por Electric Metals,&nbsp;<strong>a\u00fan no se sabe de qu\u00e9 forma se har\u00e1&nbsp;<\/strong>\u00abporque a\u00fan no tenemos el detalle t\u00e9cnico presentado al respecto. Puede ser un m\u00e9todo, puede ser otro o pueden ser ambos a la vez\u00bb, expres\u00f3 Portilla.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sin embargo, la minera GreenShift dio detalles de c\u00f3mo efectuar\u00e1 la exploraci\u00f3n en R\u00edo Negro. Las tareas comenzar\u00e1n con un&nbsp;<strong>programa de exploraci\u00f3n Fase 1 que durar\u00e1 tres meses.<\/strong>&nbsp;El plan de trabajo consiste en prospecci\u00f3n,&nbsp;<strong>muestreo de roca por esquirla y excavaci\u00f3n de zanjas<\/strong>&nbsp;en las \u00e1reas de mayor prioridad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.rionegro.com.ar\/energia\/litio-por-que-argentina-no-debe-replicar-el-modelo-mexicano-2762798\/\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.rionegro.com.ar\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/02\/Litio.jpg?w=215&amp;h=120\" alt=\"\"\/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Utilizar\u00e1n un analizador LIBS (una espectroscopia de descomposici\u00f3n inducida por l\u00e1ser), lo que&nbsp;<strong>proporciona una estimaci\u00f3n en tiempo real del grado de litio.<\/strong>&nbsp;La firma explic\u00f3 que de esta forma los equipos de campo evaluar\u00e1n el potencial y priorizar\u00e1n los objetivos para el trabajo futuro. A\u00fan no est\u00e1 confirmado, pero podr\u00eda entenderse que en Neuqu\u00e9n&nbsp;<strong>utilizar\u00e1n un m\u00e9todo similar.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Respecto a Electric Metals,&nbsp;<strong>ya tiene otras solicitudes de cateos por otros minerales en la provincia.<\/strong>&nbsp;\u00abSer\u00eda por uranio, por banad\u00edo, en otras zonas de la provincia. Est\u00e1n m\u00e1s o menos en el mismo estado. Siguiendo el proceso de concesi\u00f3n.&nbsp;<strong>A\u00fan no tiene concesionado ning\u00fan cateo<\/strong>, por lo que no pueden explorar en el terreno\u00bb, coment\u00f3 el referente.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A fines del a\u00f1o pasado, la secretar\u00eda de Energ\u00eda de R\u00edo Negro confirm\u00f3 que la firma \u00ab<strong>ya est\u00e1 haciendo&nbsp;algunas aproximaciones a la comunidad&nbsp;en conjunto con la secretar\u00eda de Miner\u00eda<\/strong>\u00bb para la exploraci\u00f3n del litio en roteca dura.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>fuente: diario rio
