{"id":81367,"date":"2024-04-08T19:00:00","date_gmt":"2024-04-08T22:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/patagoniambiental.com.ar\/info\/?p=81367"},"modified":"2024-08-12T23:47:58","modified_gmt":"2024-08-13T02:47:58","slug":"lograron-producir-hidrogeno-verde-a-partir-de-algas-y-bacterias-para-que-sirve","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/patagoniambiental.com.ar\/info\/lograron-producir-hidrogeno-verde-a-partir-de-algas-y-bacterias-para-que-sirve\/","title":{"rendered":"Lograron producir hidr\u00f3geno verde a partir de algas y bacterias"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<p>Un equipo de la Universidad de C\u00f3rdoba, Espa\u00f1a, descubri\u00f3 una novedosa forma de conseguir el \u00abcombustible del futuro\u00bb.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Un equipo de investigadores de la&nbsp;<strong>Universidad de C\u00f3rdoba (UCO),<\/strong>&nbsp;en&nbsp;<strong>Espa\u00f1a<\/strong>, descubri\u00f3 que con algas y bacterias se puede generar<a href=\"https:\/\/www.canal26.com\/planeta\/energias-renovables-instalaran-un-laboratorio-en-la-antartida-para-generar-hidrogeno-verde-y-reducir-la-contaminacion--362374\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>&nbsp;hidr\u00f3geno verde.<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cLa producci\u00f3n de hidr\u00f3geno usando consorcios de algas y bacterias es una estrategia que deja de lado el uso de&nbsp;<strong>combustibles f\u00f3siles o la electr\u00f3lisis del agua usando energ\u00eda,<\/strong>&nbsp;que son las formas actuales de producci\u00f3n de este combustible\u201d, escribieron los autores.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Pero esto es todo, sino que la uni\u00f3n de un alga y tres bacterias genera tambi\u00e9n una&nbsp;<strong>biomasa<\/strong>&nbsp;que luego puede ser utilizada para limpiar las aguas residuales en las que crecen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:100px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-dos-en-uno-hidrogeno-y-biomasa\">Dos en uno: hidr\u00f3geno y biomasa<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>La bacteria<strong>&nbsp;Microbacterium forte&nbsp;<\/strong>ayuda al<strong>&nbsp;alga Chlamydomonas&nbsp;<\/strong>a generar hidr\u00f3geno. Incluyendo<strong>&nbsp;Bacillus cereus y Stenotrophomonas goyi&nbsp;<\/strong>se consigue que, mientras se genera hidr\u00f3geno, tanto las bacterias como el alga crezcan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As\u00ed producen la biomasa que luego se puede revalorizar tambi\u00e9n como<strong>&nbsp;combustible o fuente de energ\u00eda.&nbsp;<\/strong>\u201cEste consorcio es mejor porque es m\u00e1s duradero, lo puedes cultivar y&nbsp;<strong>obtener durante mucho tiempo hidr\u00f3geno y biomasa<\/strong>&nbsp;a diferencia de otros consorcios\u00bb, asegur\u00f3 el investigador del trabajo,&nbsp;<strong>David Gonz\u00e1lez<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Y a\u00f1adi\u00f3: \u00abTambi\u00e9n descubrimos que<strong>&nbsp;Microbacterium forte y Stenotrophomonas goyi<\/strong>&nbsp;necesitan vitaminas (biotina y tiamina) y fuentes reducidas de azufre para crecer y lo que&nbsp;<strong>Chlamydomonas<\/strong>&nbsp;hace seguramente es aportarle esos nutrientes que las bacterias necesitan para crecer\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Podemos decir que las bacterias se benefician de la relaci\u00f3n con el alga para crecer, ofreci\u00e9ndole el&nbsp;<strong>CO2 y el \u00e1cido ac\u00e9tico<\/strong>&nbsp;que el alga requiere para producir hidr\u00f3geno.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sin embargo, sus beneficios para el medio ambiente van mucho m\u00e1s all\u00e1.&nbsp;Estos consorcios se cultivan en&nbsp;<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.canal26.com\/planeta\/segun-un-estudio-se-puede-generar-electricidad-utilizando-aguas-residuales--351503\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">aguas residuales<\/a>.&nbsp;<\/strong>\u201cNuestro trabajo tambi\u00e9n aprovecha el potencial de utilizar<strong>&nbsp;materiales de desecho como fuente de nutrientes<\/strong>, facilitando as\u00ed la producci\u00f3n de biohidr\u00f3geno renovable y sostenible. Contando con la ventaja de que este consorcio tiene una producci\u00f3n de hidr\u00f3geno aproximadamente<strong>&nbsp;diez veces mayor que la de los anteriores\u201d,&nbsp;<\/strong>agreg\u00f3 la otra autora&nbsp;<strong>Neda Fakhimi<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:100px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-hidrogeno-verde-el-combustible-del-futuro\">Hidr\u00f3geno verde: el combustible del futuro<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>La producci\u00f3n de hidr\u00f3geno mediante consorcios de algas y bacterias es una estrategia que evita el uso de<strong>&nbsp;combustibles f\u00f3siles o la electr\u00f3lisis del agua utilizando energ\u00eda,<\/strong>&nbsp;que son las formas actuales de producir este combustible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El hidr\u00f3geno es el elemento qu\u00edmico m\u00e1s abundante del universo, no emite gases de efecto invernadero y posee una alta densidad energ\u00e9tica, lo que lo convierte en una de las mejores alternativas para el&nbsp;<strong>reemplazo de los combustibles tradicionales<\/strong>. Sin embargo, su principal desaf\u00edo radica en que&nbsp;<strong>debe generarse artificialmente.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Juan Carlos Bolcich<\/strong>, f\u00edsico argentino especializado en hidr\u00f3geno como energ\u00eda alternativa, infinita y accesible, explic\u00f3 a&nbsp;<strong>Infobae<\/strong>&nbsp;que \u00abal principio de este siglo,&nbsp;<strong>Argentina estaba muy avanzada respecto a los estudios sobre hidr\u00f3geno verde\u00bb<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cEn los primeros a\u00f1os del nuevo siglo, con la implementaci\u00f3n de la planta experimental de Pico Truncado en Santa Cruz, se logr\u00f3 un avance importante en el estudio de esta nueva tecnolog\u00eda limpia y eficiente.<strong>&nbsp;Pero en los siguientes a\u00f1os, nunca hubo una ley y las regulaciones necesarias en Argentina&nbsp;<\/strong>para lograr las inversiones necesarias para que los estudios dejen de ser experimentales y sean implementados en la industria y en la sociedad\u00bb, sostuvo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cCasi todos los pa\u00edses de la regi\u00f3n ya tienen su ley y las reglamentaciones de la ley para la implementaci\u00f3n de hidr\u00f3geno verde<strong>.
