Estos datos fueron revelados a partir de &nbsp; la colecci\u00f3n 1 de mapas anuales de cobertura y uso del suelo entre 1998 y 2022, generados de forma gratuita y p\u00fablica por&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/42702.clicks.dattanet.com\/track\/click?u=3496804&amp;p=34323730323a3534333a3436303a303a313a30&amp;s=16aa62b4cebd1387d9d4524068b9da91&amp;m=574\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">MapBiomas Argentina<\/a>&nbsp;en su lanzamiento reciente.<br><br>La plataforma ofrece una&nbsp;<strong>visi\u00f3n in\u00e9dita del territorio argentino en un contexto de vulnerabilidad clim\u00e1tica vinculada a sequ\u00edas e inundaciones en distintas regiones del pa\u00eds<\/strong>. Re\u00fane informaci\u00f3n sobre la cobertura y uso del suelo en el pa\u00eds, relevando \u00e1reas de vegetaci\u00f3n natural le\u00f1osa, cuerpos de agua, pastizales, estepas, forestaciones y \u00e1reas de agricultura y pastura entre otros.&nbsp;&nbsp;<strong>Proporciona informaci\u00f3n esencial para la investigaci\u00f3n y contribuci\u00f3n al desarrollo sostenible del pa\u00eds.&nbsp;<\/strong>Permitir\u00e1 mejorar la gesti\u00f3n y monitoreo de los recursos naturales respaldando de manera s\u00f3lida la planificaci\u00f3n territorial y las estrategias de conservaci\u00f3n de la naturaleza y su biodiversidad.<br><br><strong>La iniciativa es una colaboraci\u00f3n de expertos y expertas en teledetecci\u00f3n y recursos naturales de institutos de investigaci\u00f3n y organizaciones de la sociedad civil<\/strong>&nbsp;que, mediante el procesamiento de im\u00e1genes satelitales, generaron esta primera colecci\u00f3n de 25 mapas anuales con 15 clases de cobertura y uso del suelo.<br><br><em>\u201cLa metodolog\u00eda de MapBiomas propone un trabajo c\u00edclico, en cada colecci\u00f3n existe un aprendizaje que es incorporado por el equipo para que los pr\u00f3ximos mapas sean mejores a la vez de sumar nuevos desaf\u00edos\u201d,&nbsp;<\/em>afirm\u00f3&nbsp;<strong>Ana Eljall, Especialista en Gesti\u00f3n de la Informaci\u00f3n Socioambiental de Fundaci\u00f3n Vida Silvestre Argentina.<\/strong><br>&nbsp;<br><strong>Algunos de los datos extra\u00eddos de la Colecci\u00f3n 1<\/strong>, \u201cMapBiomas Argentina: Construyendo una red colaborativa para el mapeo de la cobertura y uso del suelo(1998-2022)\u201d, revelan que:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>La vegetaci\u00f3n natural representa un 70% del pa\u00eds y el 28% es le\u00f1osa cerrada y abierta (79 Mha). El componente le\u00f1oso incluye \u00e1rboles y arbustos que pueden encontrarse distribuidos de forma m\u00e1s o menos concentrada en el paisaje.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u200bLa p\u00e9rdida de Le\u00f1osas Cerradas se concentr\u00f3 en el norte del pa\u00eds, en la provincias de Santiago del Estero (2,1 Mha), Salta (1,5 Mha) y Chaco (870 mil ha).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Las clases de uso antr\u00f3pico como la agricultura, la ganader\u00eda y plantaciones forestales cubren 55,5 Mha, equivalentes a dos veces la provincia de Buenos Aires.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Entre 1998 y 2022, la superficie agr\u00edcola aument\u00f3 5,2 Mha y las pasturas 1,4 Mha; mientras que las plantaciones forestales aumentaron un 37%.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u200bEl 97% de la Patagonia es vegetaci\u00f3n natural y \u00e1rea sin vegetaci\u00f3n (80,5 Mha). A nivel local podemos observar patrones interesantes como la desaparici\u00f3n del lago Colhue Huapi y la p\u00e9rdida de bosques patag\u00f3nicos.<a href=\"https:\/\/economis.com.ar\/incendio-en-los-alerces-esta-activo-hace-una-semana-y-ya-consumio-2-500-hectareas\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00a8<em>Dos de las principales novedades que trae MapBiomas como red en cada pa\u00eds miembro es, la generaci\u00f3n de informaci\u00f3n s\u00f3lida metodol\u00f3gicamente y disponible de forma gratuita y, el trabajo colectivo de profesionales de distintas instituciones cuyo compromiso es generar informaci\u00f3n por un bien com\u00fan\u00a8<\/em>; destaca\u00a0<strong>Mayra Milkovic Secretaria de la Red Global MapBiomas.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:100px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-informacion-sobre-las-regiones\"><strong><br><\/strong><br><br><strong>Informaci\u00f3n sobre las regiones:<\/strong>\u00a0<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><br><br><strong>En la regi\u00f3n del Noroeste (NOA)<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 Jujuy, Salta, Tucum\u00e1n, Catamarca y Santiago del Estero; el cambio m\u00e1s significativo fue la disminuci\u00f3n de la clase le\u00f1osa cerrada en Santiago del Estero (2,1 Mha). Desde el a\u00f1o 1998, se ha perdido cerca del 10% de la vegetaci\u00f3n natural de la regi\u00f3n (3,6 Mha). Mientras que, la superficie del \u00e1rea agropecuaria aument\u00f3 un 16% (7,5 Mha).<br><br><strong>En el Noreste (NEA)<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 Chaco, Formosa, Corrientes y Misiones; la provincia con mayor aumento en la superficie agropecuaria fue Formosa destac\u00e1ndose el aumento en las pasturas. lLas plantaciones forestales de Misiones aumentaron un 50% (100 mil ha). En t\u00e9rminos de p\u00e9rdida, Chaco perdi\u00f3 el 15% de su cobertura natural de Le\u00f1osa Cerrada mientras que en Corrientes la p\u00e9rdida fue del 8% de sus pastizales (281 mil ha).<br><br><strong>La regi\u00f3n del CENTRO<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 Buenos Aires, La Pampa, C\u00f3rdoba, Santa Fe y Entre R\u00edos; es la regi\u00f3n en donde la mitad de su superficie (39 Mha) ya era de uso agropecuario al inicio del per\u00edodo analizado. Sin embargo, la mitad de la p\u00e9rdida de pastizales del pa\u00eds, sucedi\u00f3 en esta regi\u00f3n (300 mil ha). Otra p\u00e9rdida importante de la regi\u00f3n fue el 17% de la superficie ocupada por agua superficial (266 mil ha).<br><br><strong>En CUYO<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 Mendoza, San Luis, San Juan y La Rioja; el cambio m\u00e1s destacado fue el incremento del \u00e1rea agropecuaria concentrada en los valles irrigados, creci\u00f3 un 28% (500 mil ha) en todo el per\u00edodo. En La Rioja, la superficie de plantaciones forestales aument\u00f3 19 mil ha mientras que en San Luis la superficie de agricultura alcanz\u00f3 las 136 mil ha).<br><br><strong>La PATAGONIA<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 Neuqu\u00e9n, R\u00edo Negro, Chubut, Santa Cruz y Tierra del Fuego; es una regi\u00f3n en la que gran parte de su extensi\u00f3n a\u00fan contin\u00faa cubierta por vegetaci\u00f3n natural y \u00e1reas sin vegetaci\u00f3n (80,5 Mha). Sin embargo, se perdieron 66 mil ha de superficie de hielo y nieve (8,2% de la regi\u00f3n). A nivel local podemos observar patrones interesantes como la desaparici\u00f3n del lago Colhue Huapi y la p\u00e9rdida de bosques patag\u00f3nicos.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Fuente: <a
